Rainforests For Kids Questions and Answers
Resolved Question: Did we save the rainforest?
I remember my school having huge rallies to "save the rainforest" when I was a kid. It must have been a tough talked about environmental issue at the time. Did we get it done? Are they safe? Probably the greatest threat to the environment is not CO2 emissions, its legit environmental issues being tossed to the wayside while we chase this pipe dream of reducing CO2 in the next 10 years. moreResolved Question: Looking for some reviews/advice for a doll stroller for my 20 month old. Any input please?
She is 20 months and about average height (32"). I only want a single stroller not a double. And I also want one sturdy enough to go outside. I am planning on spending about $30-45 on it. I don't want a cheap cheap one because I feel like they are a waste as they deteriorate quickly in quality. And I don't want to spend too much because she is getting a nicer one from Pottery Barn Kids for her birthday. The one for her B-day is a pink polka-dot pram style. But at the moment she is still a bit too small to use the pram shaped ones well. It's too hard for her to reach into it. So I want a forward facing style. Right now I am between these 3 really: The MacClaren Junior XT ($30), it got decent reviews on toys r us and I know that our local toys r us has it in stock. The Graco Expidition doll jogger ($23); This one is newer I believe so there was only 1 review for it; but it was a good one. The MacClaren MX3 jogger ($33); again got good reviews and I think this is super cute. Finally the Fisher-Price rainforest 2-in-1 stroller ($29.), the reviews were mixed but I just think it looks SO cute with al the rainforest theme baby stuff out there and everything! So if anyone has either other suggestions, or has a comment about one that I listed as intetrested in please let me know. I know it seems like a lot for a doll stroller, but I hate getting her excited them it being a hunk of crap, and having to take it back ect. I prefer to research it well first. Thanks for your help!!! moreResolved Question: Trying to decide on a god baby doll stroller for my daughter..any input?

My daughter just turned 6 month old and she is no longer interested in most of her toys. She doesn't like her Rainforest Bouncer, her Baby Einstein play mat or her swing. I don't feel very comfortable with the doorway jumpers and I don't have a door way with wide enough ledges. I was thinking about getting her one of those jumpers with the metal frame like this: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=8056431 Do you think that it's a waste of money, is it too late for her to start using it and get a good amount of time out of it? She didn't roll over until she was 5 1/2 months old so I doubt she will be walking anytime soon; I say that now but kids often make liars out of their parents. Thanks a bunch! :) Someone gave us an Evenflo Exersaucer and she hates it...well, maybe the next one will like it. moreResolved Question: Need senior project community action.?

“Mercedes” My foot lightly touched the ground as we boarded out of the hunting truck. I had just gone hunting with just a couple of spears made out of sticks and rocks. We had come back from hunting in the rainforest where many green and thick trees covered the ground. I uneasily sat in the back of the truck with the adult men. In the group of about 20 men, a little girl, like me, would feel like a helpless fish surrounded by a barricade of sharks. Hunting was a part of my life ever since I turned 10. This was necessary because my dad had gotten hurt and he couldn’t hunt anymore. A red and puffy infection spread across his arm like the trees that hug the dirt floor of the rainforest. In a previous hunt, a jaguar had bitten him. The wound was as deep as the Amazon River that flowed past the huts from our village. Kids piled out of the school as I walked toward my hut. I had always dreamed of going to school. Happy and excited kids piled out of the little cement building with their books in hand. They reminded me of ants in a line carrying food to their homes. I wanted to go so bad. Papí had always wanted me to go to school also. He had felt really bad that he was the reason that it wasn’t possible. There was many times in which he tried to trick Mamí into believing that he was healed so that I could go while he hunted. My mom wouldn’t let him. She knew that he was trying to trick her because he told her every night that he had really wanted me to go to school. I had promised myself, once Papí was better, I could go. All of a sudden, a groan was heard coming from my hut, I ran with the meager rabbit that I had caught in my dirt-coated hands. I knew, it was Papí; you could sense the pain in his groans. I approached to the opening in my family’s hut, and peeked in and I could see dad’s almost limp body lying on the dirt and leaf bed. I watched as my mom carefully patted his infected arm with water from the hole in the ground. My dad looked up. As soon as he saw me, he tried to cover up the pain. His attempts were useless; you could sense the pain in his eyes. You could sense the pain in his unmoving body. He smiled and said as he spotted the rabbit, “Mercedes, I am proud of you.” Mamí nodded and grinned. “Gracias, Papi.” I replied. Another groan slipped form dad’s mouth as Mami poured water on his arm. To cover the groan for me, Papi quickly reminded me that my brother was coming back from the city soon. At that moment, something rushed through me, I was happy. My mom and dad saw how excited I was. My brother had gone to Lima to see if he could sell any of the coconuts and bananas that he had picked off of the tall trees that bared fruit. He told us he would be back in 20 days. He told us that he would sleep on the dirt road at night and wake up in the morning to see if he could sell anything. I looked up. I could see Papi squirming and trying so hard not to groan. Mami was now trying to wrap damp leaves over the wound. He reminded me of an animal squirming after it got hurt and was trying to survive. That worried me. Papi was getting older and older; his body couldn’t take the pain anymore. When mom was finished, she motioned to me to give her the rabbit. I gave it to her and I could see the wound on the rabbits body. It reminded me of something. I hadn’t known what it reminded me of though. Mami took the rabbit and started preparing it. More groans escaped from my dad’s mouth. I went to help mom cook the rabbit. In little time, the rabbit was prepared and ready. We sat around dad’s dirt bed and ate the little that we had. We drank the water from the hole that was dug up in the dirt ground. Papi struggled when he tried to eat. When we were done, I washed the one pot that we ahd with water as mom tok care of dad. Mami soon left to clean our only clothes. She left with my shirt with holes in it. She left with my muddy pants. She washed our clothes at the river. She soon came back and hung them on some young banana trees. I lay in the pile of leaves on the ground, my bed, which was on the other side of the hut. I turned my body so I was facing the wall made out of sticks. I thought of how strong and courageous my dad used to be. He was the strongest of the men in the village. Then, one day he was hunting . He threw a spear at a jaguar. He struck it and the jaguar lay limp on the ground. When Papi went to pick it up, it jumped up and it his arm. The blood flowing our of the ut reminded me of the flowing water of the river. The gash reminded me of the wound on an animal after it has been killed. I quietly sobbed to myself; his body has veen going through immense pain for a very long time. The pain didn’t seem like it was going to stop anytime soon. I knew that it was time for it to end, I just didn’t know how it was going to end. Right after that, I fell asleep to the sound of his painful groans. The next day, I woke up to soft crying. I turned my head. Something shot through my b ody. This time it wasn’t excitement, but it was shock. The body of my dad lay on the dirt bed. I got up from my bed and ran to mom. “Mami, que pasa?’ I asked with worry. Tears rolled off her chin and they lightly hit the dirt ground. When she replied, she quivered as she talked, you could hear the sadness in her voice. She said that she had gone to sleep. “He groaned for help, but no one was there to help him.” She burst into tears. “Mami, we will be okay,” I lied. I stared at the lifeless body of dad and felt a lump rising in my throat. Before I realized, hot drops of water flowed out of my eyes and down my filthy face. I hugged Mami tighter. I heard a knock coming from outside of the hut. I slowly got up and wiped the tears from my face. I peeked out. It was my brother. He came in and looked at Mami, then at me, then at the deceased body of my dad. He knew what had happended. He ran toward mom and me and hugged us tight. He whispered into my ear as he stroked my tangles hair, “Don’t worry hermanita, I will do the hunting. You can go to school, I know how much he wanted you to go to school. He would’ve been proud of you” He whispered something into my mom’s ear and she stopped crying and smiled at my brother. The next day, my brother had gone hunting. I stayed at the hut with mom because I didn’t feel like going to school. “Merche,” Mami said, “hija, don’t worry. Go have fun at school. All you have to do is remember your dad in your heart. My Papi died when I was little. I still talk with him I can hear him in my heart. It feels like he never left. Remember, Papi had always wanted you to go to school. I searched my mom’s face to look for any sadness. “Gracious Mami,” I replied gratefully. She was right. Papi had always wanted me to go and then was my chances to go. I wondered if I would be like Mami and hear my dad from my heart. Then, I slowly left for shool. I was nervous, excited, and very sad at the same time. I walked down the muddy road thinking of what was going to happen. Almost too soon, I arrived at the little cement building. I tried to be strong and courageous, like my dad. When I stepped in the opening of the building, I heard a voice coming from my heart. “Mercedes, I am very proud of you. I love you.” moreResolved Question: my fifteenth birthday party?

It's a difficult question to ask, but needs to be addressed. Our Planet is over-crowded now. Over-crowding not only depletes our natural resources faster than they replenish, and pollutes our streams, oceans and air, but also leads to civil unrest and anger. So many people say that there is plenty of land for more humans, but where are they looking? Sure there is land in Utah and Nevada, but is it habitable, and practical? Look how the rainforest's are disappearing to allow for humans. There are populations of people living where they shouldn't, because of outside help and sustainance being brought in. Is it healthy physically and emotionally for people to be living, stacked on top of each other? What is the true carrying capacity of out Planet? I know we passed it long ago, maybe around 2 billion. Why do people believe they are deserving or important enough to replace themselves with more than one new human? My idea: Allow for taxable deductions on the first 2 kids for each couple, the third kid gets no deduction, the fourth and each additional child are negative deductions and the parents will pay extra in taxes for their children's negative impact on society and our Planet. Adjustments will need to be allowed for twins and multible births. Advantages of this plan is that couples with the means to provide for their children will be able to have more than two, and couples without the means, are still allowed to have two with no penalty, but they will also know that they will not be receiving aid to help raise additional children. In the case of non-couples having kids, that is just sad. Guys not even knowing who and how many kids they have. Sad. What about gays and lesbians having kids from a sperm bank? Sad. Having kids should be a privelage not a right. Now, how is that for an idea to anger a majority of people? Yes, I'm a third child. Maybe I shouldn't be here. But if I weren't I wouldn't care. Yes, The US isn't as bad off as many countries, but we gotta do what we can. Lead by example. Sometime within the next 50 years, hard desision WILL have to be made regarding overpopulation. That's the fact Jack. Maybe it's more humane and natural to have a population die-back by plague, pestulance, hunger, and violence. moreResolved Question: Another story i have written... How is it? Suggestions?
Ok so here we go again. I just wrote this intro to a story i might start writing and i wanted opinions. So i read it over and im pretty sure i have corrected all errors. I have no real storyline or name yet, im still working on that, but tell me what you think The hall was dark. Too dark for me to enter, but I had no choice. It was my only way out. So I ran into the darkness. I heard screams behind me, screams from my fallen team mates. I ran harder and faster, even though my breath was running out quickly. I was almost to the door I saw at the end of the hallway. So close to victory, so very close, I just wanted to end this wretched nightmare. I was there. I reached the door at the end of the hallway. I grabbed the doorknob and almost tore it off the hinges. I ran in and looked back for a split second. No one was there, all I saw was a dark hallway. I slammed the door hastily and collapsed to the ground tired and confused. I didn’t know what to do next. There was a banging at the door and I quickly leaned against it and locked it. I was scared like a little kid hiding from a monster under his bed. “I have got to get out of this place”, I gasped. I looked around again, still in a daze from all that had happened in so little time, as a matter of fact it seemed like just yesterday I was hopping out of the chopper and walking right into this hellhole. I leaned my head back and before I knew it I drifted of into a dream. I was about to relive the nightmare I had just went through all over again. “Chris. Chris. Wake up, no sleeping on the job. You’ll have plenty of time to sleep when we get this mission done. “I looked around suspiciously and smiled. Pat Hutchins, an old friend of mine, had his rigid face in front of mine, broken nose and all. He had his helmet on hiding his long red Mohawk. He put his hand out in front of me and I shook it. “Your getting tired before the job even starts, come on now, I’m going to need some help on the battlefield out there.” He leaned in closely and whispered “I don’t know how much help these lumps are going to be out there.” The “lumps” he was referring too, was our team. I didn’t know any of them but Pat, I looked more closely around and realized I was in the chopper. I had forgotten where I was, I must have been out like a light. The surroundings were dull, just a bunch of wilderness and trees. Looked like a tropical rainforest out there. I looked around the chopper, squinting to see the people around me. I saw an older man, his nametag on his military outfit read “Davidson”. He pulled his cigar out of his mouth and looked at me. He sighed, laughed, and looked away. Confused I tried to ignore him. He had many scars and was missing his pinkie and middle fingers. His hair grey hair was slicked back and he quickly put on his aviator sunglasses and popped his cigar back into his mouth. I looked away and matched eyes with a woman sitting to the right of me. She sighed and looked away, I did the same. She was in her early forties maybe, she looked like a pretty hardened woman, she had black hair and it was covered with a military camouflage cap. Her name tag read “Johnson”. I was a little bit in awe. I don’t remember my teammates looking so tough upon the entrance to the chopper. I felt like a little kid, a defenseless little kid, the one that has to be helped with everything. I will prove to this team I got what it takes. I saw another person in the chopper. He was a strange looking character, he was really quite. He looked around as if he were startled by something and then looked back down to his feet. He had white face paint and a red smile painted on his lips. He looked up and I saw that he had scars going straight down his eyes. He smiled at me and I looked away quickly. His name tag simply stated “Crow”. I couldn’t help but think it was a bit creepy, but no one else seemed to pay to much attention to him. There was one more person on the chopper and he seemed to be a little nervous like me. He had a tear in his eye and looked like he was about to have a nervous breakdown. I looked down and saw a picture of a woman and a man. He was the man in the picture and the woman was quite attractive. I was guessing it was his wife. He had a short blonde crew cut and had a military camouflage hat on like Johnson. His name tag read “Hobbs”, and “JayRod” was written on the back of his cap, probably a nickname. I heard a voice shout “Okay fellas, we are coming up on the plant, get ready to hop out.” The voice came from the pilot, who apparently knew what was going on, unlike me. A parachute bag was forced into my arms. I looked up to see Pat. “Just do what I do Crisco!” he shouted, I could hardly hear him because every thing got really loud of the sudden. Crisco was the nickname I was given, for no apparent reason, Pat has just always called me that. I quickly stood up and struggled with my parachute, I looked around and everyone was watching me with smug looks on their faces. Except Ok so there is a big part missing, ill put it in if anyone is interested suggestions, comments, and ratings would be appreciated. i want to know how well i did and whether or not it would make for a good story line moreResolved Question: Is this a good story for kids under 12?
Pup, is a dog. He lives in a little city town called Slump City. Now, as the name suggests, it is a very boring city. Everyone is all in a bad mood. Or a sad mood. Everyone, except Pup. He came from “The Sahara dessert. It was full of Pumpkin Delights, Snookerdoodles and the original, the spectacular, Cherrioussió Candies. It was a one-of-a-kind candy. It had a special secret formula, that if you pop one into your mouth, the secret ingredient will make you jump with happiness and above all, YOU WILL NEVER BE SAD AGAIN Sadly, as said, you will never be sad again. That means if something tragic happened you won’t be sad about it which means people will think that you are a happy person and need to go to a doctors. And you don’t want that. So, they had to get rid of them. A few years later the people of Sahara Dessert found the key ingredient. So they started to make the Cherrioussió Candies again. But the same things happened. So they had to get the sand of Egypt and covered the whole land with sand. So the Sahara Dessert became the Sahara Desert.” Pup said. “Was it all true?” A Kangaroo called Roo said. “Every last word.” Pup replied. “So that’s why I have never heard of the Cherry something, something sweets.” A Rhino called Ryan said. “Can you still get the candies?” Roo asked. “Yes. You can but…” Pup started. “But what?” Roo said. “Well, you can only find the ingredients in the Amazon Rainforest. And it is awfully a long way away.” Pup explained. “Do it.” Roo said. “What?” Pup said. “She said do it.” Ryan said. “Huh?” Pup repeated. “I-said-why-don’t-you-go-there-and-get-the-candies?” Roo said, slowly. “Oh. Good idea, but…” Pup wondered. Pup was deep in thought thinking of what to do. Finally, Pup knew what to do. “OK. I’ll go.” Pup finally said, “only on one condition.” “What?” Ryan asked. “Only as long as you come with me.” CHAPTER 2 “Hurry, Roo. The plane will take of soon” Pup said carrying a suitcase. “I’m coming, I’m coming.” Roo called. Ryan wasn’t carrying anything. He said, he had all he wanted. Roo, on the other hand had like a whole hotel in there. Ryan rolled his eyes. “Doesn’t surprise me.” He grumbled. “What do you have in there, a country?” “No.” Roo said firmly, “I have, 2 hairbrushes, 3 combs, 7 game consoles, 17 pairs of socks, 19 pairs of underwear…” She carried on for 1 hour, “And finally a little rubber.” They were halfway through their journey by the time she finished. Ryan and Pup were fast asleep in their seats and were woken up by their meals. “What do you have, Ryan?” Pup asked, then he yawned. A big yawn. “Beef with chips and Pup, please put your hand over your mouth when you yawn.” Ryan replied. “You don’t.” Pup stated. “Touché.” Ryan said. 5 hours later they were at the Amazon. It was beautiful. There was a big river running through it and loads of animals there too. As soon as they landed Pup ran off. Closely followed by Roo and Ryan. Pup sniffed left and right trying to find a perfect campsite. Finally, they found one. It was all soil with a bit of moss from the trees. Roo kept on making disgusted faces. “Is there any Spa or something here?” She asked. “I need to clean my tail.” And she hopped around as Kangaroos do. “No.” Pup said. “Remember, we are in the Amazon rainforest.” They set up their tents and went to the river. They went and fished out some delicious fish. They made a campfire and cooked their fish and ate it all up, only leaving the bones. “It’s getting late. I think that we should go to bed.” Ryan suggested. “Ok,” Roo and Pup agreed. “Tomorrow, we will go and find the stuff for our sweets.” Pup said. CHAPTER 3 They all woke up nice and early so they can get an early start. They hiked up the mountains there was a big temple dedicated to the one who invented the candies. Sir Froggsleggies*. He was the master. The Roger Federer but of the candies. He was the ‘Daddy’ of all candies. He even knocked Willie Wonka out of his chocolate factory. Sadly, he died back in 1942, but the tradition was still kept on. The ingredient they needed was in the temple. “Legend had it, that there were some really bad traps in there. No one has ever come back alive.” Pup said. They started to walk over to the temple. They stepped inside the temple. It had a weird smell to it. “What’s that smell?” Roo asked. “Well. To tell you the truth, I don’t know.” Pup replied. All three of them carried on walking. They were sure that they were being watched. They never knew. They walked this way and that. Left and right, until they found what they thought was the ingredient. Ryan kept back as he was heavy, because he is a Rhino. Pup took off his backpack and took out his laser-tracker. He sprayed the tracker along the ground in front of the podium. “Just as I thought.” Pup said. There was loads of lasers. “Think that you can trick us!! HA!!!” Pup carefully stepped in each gap trying not to step on the red lasers. Finally moreResolved Question: Should I book a tour in Costa Rica or just make the plans myself?
My family (2 adults, 2 young kids) is considering a vacation in Costa Rica. The rainforest is calling out to us -- and maybe the Pacific coast too. We'd like to hike in the forest, try a zip line, a canopy tour, see some waterfalls, monkeys, butterflies, and maybe even a volcano. Is it better to plan things myself (and rent a car) or just go with a tour? moreResolved Question: Which Fisher-Price swing should I get?
I like the cradle swings that can swing side-to-side as well as front-to-back. I would prefer to get the Rainforest one since it's the easiest to find but I heard the motor dies quickly, and I would like to reuse it for my future kids (well, I'm still pregnant so I guess they're all future kids! :-P). The Aquarium looks nice too and I lovvve the Little Lamb Papasan swing (it's like the Nature's Touch I guess). Any recommendations? Thanks a lot! moreResolved Question: Always Jumping....normal or extra bouncy?
Hi all.. we just set up my son's Rainforest Jumperoo a few weeks ago, and now ALL he wants to do is jump. He will go in there for hours at a time and bounce and bounce (the song has been stuck in my head for a week now...it's brutal). I'm just wondering if this is completely normal to "bounce this much" or is he just an extra "bouncy" kid? Also can bouncing in it (set to the right height etc) hurt his little legs at all? Or do damage to the bones at all? Seriously, he bounces A LOT and then screams when you take him out because he wants to be back in. He has already been jumping for a total (not consecutive time) of over 5 hours today.... Good God.. thanks so much for the help!! he's 5 months tomorrow, and yes his neck is strong enough!! moreResolved Question: Island mythology? Who can interpret this?
I have a re-occuring dream that I believe is due to my heritage and strangely effecting my life now. I am half pacific islander, my dad is from Kiribati, but his great-grandmother was Hawaiian. My grandmother always told me that the island people have strong connections with ancestors, I guess it is a lot like Asian mythology. I am standing at the edge of a huge lake in a misty rainforest, I know I am not from this time, I see my reflection in the water but I don't see me, I literally see some pochahontus look-a-like with long dark hair, darker skin and well, its embarassing but I am naked. Then I submerge into the water knowing I am going to swim to the other side of this huge lake possibly to see my lover, its so beautiful. BUT the whole time I keep thinking about how sad I am due to this man who I know I can't be with because he is white, and not the man my father wants me to marry. Fast forwarding to real life, this man no joke, I have recently met and I am not kidding, he is the man who I have dreamt about nearly my whole life, but he is 44 years old now and possibly married... What happened? Did fate get it wrong or will we still be together? Whenever I am around him the de ja vu I feel is so intensly strong, and I know he feels it too. What does it all mean? (hold the Pochahontus jokes plz lol - this is serious) moreResolved Question: Good places to go to on a limo ride in San Francisco?
I have family coming over next week and I would like to know what places you'd recommend taking them to as far as restaurants go and riding in the limo. Keep in mind that the passengers coming are young family (which are between 18-10 years old) so the restaurants should be a nice environment for kids (nothing too, too fancy, something like Rainforest Cafe, if there are other restaurants out here like this) and as far as the limo is concerned I know twin peaks is a good place to go, but what about other places? Thanks. moreResolved Question: Places to stay and things to do in Chicago with kids?

I saw someone on here say the were cheap! Last year when I went a childrens icee was $7.99. One of the KIDS I was with bill was $21. On average the Childrens meal was $16. are sad when bad things happen to them? Why not just take the easy road, not have them or adopt instead therefore no watching your kids suffer, die etc.. etc... As for hope and all that I personally think the world's coming to an end, global warming killing all the rainforest and animals, what's the point. Do you agree not agree? As for kids being a side effect of sex yes that is true buuuuttt does it seem fair that some people that are really screwed up have kids then in return screw up their kids. Is it fair that the child should suffer just because two people wanted to have sex? Also at what age does the biological clock kick in? Also what causes people to want to have sex under the age of 19 or when they are not ready for the consequences then end up pregnant? Do most people live generally good, painless, non-depressed lives so therefore don't see a reason not to have kids because they don't think the kids are going to experience terrible things etc.. etc..? moreResolved Question: is this little poem any good??

kitty is back! whaa...you've never heard of me? shut up, people. ive had 3 requests for this one! At the start of each lesson, give them a souvenir – a pot plant, a golf ball, a human skull (PLEASE DON’T TAKE THAT LAST ONE SERIOUSLY!!). if they ask you to stop, give them double. START OF TERM: shake their hand vigorously and say “oh WOW I haven’t seen you in AGES!” if they ask your name, take up a confused look and say, “who the hell are you?” Bring a pot plant to every class and sit it next to you. If it’s confiscated, stand up and scream, “kidnapper! Give me Bob!” Nothing says “you’re a great teacher, thanks a lot” better than a spitball to the face. Every time you get an F, take out a red pen and change the mark to a B. Or vice versa, using liquid paper, change a B to an F. Make everybody bring a teddy to school. Give them the same name as the teacher (i.e. Mr Smith) and continually talk to it. Ask its opinion on homework, politics, rugby…anything you can think of. Set the clock forward – ridiculously forward. 2am/pm becomes 12am/pm. Also, freeze the clock if you know how to, on the second right before 3:15, or whenever you get out of school/college. Works better in schools. Fill your teacher’s pencil case with M&Ms, and a note saying “Borrowed your pens. Hope this covers it”. Release a mouse in the room! When everyone has noticed it, release a cat. The capital of Alaska is A. The capital of Montana is M. The capital of New York is N and Y. “Kit, what is the atomic weight of lead?” “Pencils?” “Kit, that’s ridiculous and incorrect” “Do I get points for creativity?” Come to school in black, wearing a ski mask and sunglasses. Take off the sunglasses in class, look around shiftily, and hand out monopoly money under the table. “An interesting fact I learned while doing my rainforest project is that a hungry dog will eat anything, especially rainforest essays” When your teacher starts saying something, mutter “I’ll sue”. Gradually get louder and louder until you are yelling “I’ll sue!” after they say something. If they tell you to be quiet, interrupt them by screaming, “I’LL SUE!”. They’ll try to say something else, so stand up and say, “I’m getting a lawyer!” and storm out. A FAVORITE: Have a “Dressup Week”. Get a lot of victims – ahh, people – involved, and hand out timetables – for example, on Monday everyone dresses as Mexicans (no offense to all the Mexicans out there, but sombreros are great fun!), Tuesday everybody dresses gothic, Wednesday everyone dresses as tourists – be creative! Get some friends to join you and follow through with it, so everybody realizes you’re not kidding and hopefully they’ll join in. On Friday get a ridiculous theme, and go on about how great it will be. When Friday comes, dress normally and watch the fun as your fellow students come dressed in ridiculous costumes! NOTE: I’ve gotten good results with “polka-dotted-space-alien” for Friday. That’s all for now – thanks for reading! moreResolved Question: looking for a good high chair.?

I know red belly blacks are known to eat other snakes. At this stage I'm happy to leave the black snake live around our shed as I would much rather my kids come face to face with "Blacky" as we call him rather than a deadly brown or taipan.
